Training Services
Group Classes
Canines First offers obedience training for companion dogs in a group setting. Group classes allow dog owners an environment in which they learn to train their dog in the commands of sit, down, stay, come and heel at various levels.
Private Consultation
Private Consultations can be used for obedience training or solving behavior problems. Many clients choose this option when tackling one or two problems that are of concern to them. Additionally, Private Consultations may be used as a substitution for group classes. This choice is for clients who prefer one-on-one personal attention. Through private consultations and lessons, dog owners are able to complete Beginning Obedience training within 4 sessions, or they may choose to take their training to the advanced level by purchasing an 8-session package.
In-house Obedience Training
This is a popular choice for busy dog owners because owner attendance isn't required. Canines First trains their dogs at the facility within 10-15 days, with optional overnight stays. In addition to training, dogs will be able to participate in canine socialization.
In-house Behavior Rehabilitation
The purpose of In-house Behavior Rehabilitation is to manage, control and in some cases eliminate a host of behavior problems ranging from perceived housebreaking issues to dominant-based aggression.
